Mary Beth Wilson offered their home in Hudson, Wi for a family reunion again this summer. July 24th 2PM to ? Bring a dish to pass, swimsuits, towels, a folding chair and/or lawn game if you have one. Pete and Mary will supply the burgers and brats. If you want something different, feel free to bring your own.
Rosemary F. DeMuth "Rosie", age 76, of St.Cloud passed away October 30. Rosie married Leo DeMuth of Mankato on May 7, 1955. The couple lived most of their lives in St. Cloud. Preceded in death by her husband, Leo on December 22, 1999: infant son David and 2 grandchildren infant Joey and Heidi Lynn Kub who died on October 14 2003 and brother Ralph. Survived by her six children and nine grandchildren: Nancy (Tom) Kub and Angie of Stillwater; Mark of Cambridge; Jean (John) Kruchten, Andrew and Katie of St.Cloud; Tim (Laurene), Peter, Scott, Kristina and Nick of Plymouth; Trish (Tom) Bruce, Briana and TJ of St.Cloud; Dan (Andrea) of Long Lake. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, "Sal" (Anselm) Sperl of Albany, Helen (Steve Schwahn of Minneapolis) Miller of Roseville, Joe (Shirley) Miller of St. Joseph, Alice (Ron) Zumwalde of Richmond, and Dennis (Bonnie) Miller of Alexandria and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Rosie DeMuth will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 2,at St. Paul's Catholic Church in north St.Cloud with the Rev. Alan Wielinski officiating. Rosie passed away peacefully Friday surrounded by family and friends at her home. There will be a visitation from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to Mass Monday at the Church. Arrangements are made by the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St Cloud. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
Nancy Sullivan Aguilera

Funeral services for Nancy Aguilera Sullivan were held Nov 9, 2010 at Bullhead City, AZ. Nancy passed away Nov 3, 2010 after a brief illness. She was born in Heron Lake in 1943 and spent most of her life in the Arizona area. Nancy will be remembered for her loving care of children, the elderly and and many animals, especially her dogs.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Jeanette Sullivan and Peggy Krefting, brothers John Sullivan and Neil Sullivan, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Sandy and Kaylon Howard family and Jody and Mike McNiel family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Aguilera and her parents Sylvester and Delphine Sullivan.
Burial and graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday Nov 20, 2010 at Sacred Heart cemetery in Heron Lake with a fellowship following at the Sacred Heart Church basement. All are welcome.
Louis Francis Markert, Ph.D. 69

Louis F. Markert, Ph.D., 69, died Feb. 23, 2012, at his home in Los Angeles, California.The memorial service is at 2:30pm, Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Green Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes. He was born on November 19, 1942, in Newport, Rhode Island, to Julius and Genevieve. He is survived by his wife, Asako Kudo-Markert in Los Angeles, son Cory in Stockton, sisters Rita Sonoma in Florida, Eleanor Patton in Redondo Beach, and Julie Pinkston in Costa Mesa, brothers Jerry Markert in Tennessee and Tom Markert in Costa Mesa, as well as many nieces and nephews. His daughter, Devon Markert, passed away in 2008.
Lou obtained a BA in English at UCLA, an MA in Education at CSU, Dominguez Hills, and a Ph.D. in Education/Counseling at UCLA. He began his university teaching career in a college in Nebraska, where he taught for two years before moving to Berkeley and eventually to CSU, Fresno, where he taught in the graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy. He taught for 14 years there and served as Program Coordinator and Acting Department Chair. He semi-retired in 1997 and taught psychology and many other courses at University of Phoenix, National University, CSU, Bakersfield Extension, and UCLA Extension. He published many articles, including "Fatherhood." He was born to be a teacher. His students appreciated his unique and excellent teaching style. He facilitated discussion and provoked thoughts and creativity. He definitely knew how to make difficult classes enjoyable and interesting. This is what Sheila King, Program Director who, worked with Lou at UCLA Extension, described. "What a wonderful and professional person Lou was. It was such a pleasure to work with him. He inspired me in so many ways and I learned a great deal from him about healing, hope and the true meaning of happiness. We will miss him dearly and I know his colleagues and the students will miss him as well. We were all so fortunate that he touched our lives."
Lou loved walking, golf, reading, writing, nature, freedom, independency, and watching sports. He was sincere, gentle, fan-loving, resilient, sociable, witty, kind, curious, patient, sensitive, sweat, and loved by everyone he knew. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed forever.
Thomas M. Conlin
Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather
Born 7/23/30 in Mankato, passed away surrounded by his family at home in North Oaks on 9/23/12 at the age of 82. Tom had a glorious 45 year career as a trial lawyer at the St. Paul law firm of Murnane Brandt ( formerly Murnane, Conlin, White & Brandt) trying well over 150 jury trials. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Jane; 6 children, John (Nancy), Katie (Bill) Dewitt, Sheila (Mark) Conlin-Brandenburg, Patrick (Patti), Carrie (Marty) Kottke and Bill (Sarah); 13 grandchildren, Thomas, Courtney, Patrick, Annie, Daniel, Sarah, Michael, Clara, Shawn, Ben, Nick, Will and Johnny; sister-in-law, Evelyn Conlin. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie (nee Schmidt); brother, Patrick; sister, Marguerite and (Robert) DeHaven. The family wishes to thank his fine doctors and caregivers. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday, 9/29/12, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with visitation 4-8 pm, Friday, 9/28/12 at Mueller Lake Mortuary, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake and 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, the Thomas M.
